Generally, I will offer commissions and other requests for free. The only downside to this is that I will only be doing commissions which interest me, so if you make a request for which I do not have any interest in, I simply won't be bothered to do it. If you want to know what kind of commissions I will and won't do, please take a look at the list below and take a look at some of the drawings and such that I've already done (including some of their comments as well). The reason I have a list of requests I won't do is because I'm not good at drawing certain things or characters, and to discourage ruining the quality of my artwork and your satisfaction, I'd rather draw something I'm good at rather than disappoint you with something you don't like because I didn't draw it well. Don't feel too discouraged though; if I get better at it, I'll remove it from that list. Other than that, there are some characters I simply don't draw because I don't like them. If you still aren't sure I will consider your request because the request you have in mind hasn't been considered in the list below, then feel free to contact me about it. Other general guidelines:
1) Please be patient. I am a busy person, and as such, I may not get to your request immediately, or it may take awhile, depending on the nature of your request.
2) If there is something specific you want me to do (or not do), please specify.
3) If you are requesting a collab, please also provide a sample of your current artwork. I am looking for high quality artwork. If you're still not sure if it qualifies, send it to me anyways, and I'll take a look. I may make exceptions. Please also be specific as to what you wish for me to do with it.
4) If you don't like what I did for your request, don't be fickle about it. You should either have been specific enough so that I would avoid that problem, or I already did what you asked for, and I'm not going to redraw things again because you changed your mind or couldn't make up your mind. Either ask for another request, or just put up with the fact that you're getting this for free and shouldn't be complaining.
5)Please do not ask for more than one picture in a request. I may make certain exceptions, depending on what you request.
6)You can only ask for the same kind of request once every two weeks. For example, you can request for a collab, an art trade, and a commission within two weeks, but you can't ask for two commissions within the same two weeks. If you make the same kind of request more than once within two weeks, I will ignore them. Some exceptions may be made though.
7)If you think I'm taking forever, feel free to give me a shove occasionally, but don't do it too much, otherwise I might lose the motivation to continue it. If you feel you need to be reassured though, I will send you a WIP every so often if you request it. Remember, this is FREE, so you can't really complain.
Depending on what you request me to draw, I will usually take from a day to possibly weeks or more in finishing the drawing. If I am busy though, it will take longer. If I'm not motivated, it will take longer. If the drawing you request has a lot of detail in it, it will take longer.
Requests I will definitely do (and thus will probably take less time doing/will be more willing to make exceptions with):
1)Artwork that includes any of the following characters (in no particular order): Sephiroth, Chris Lightfellow, Geddoe, Dante, Jiraiya, D, Magus, Vincent, Hitsugaya Toushiro, Ryu (preferably SFA), Twilight Princess or Ocarina of Time Link, L, Zaraki Kenpachi, Amaterasu (Okami), Grimmjow Jaggerjack in his released form, Urahara, Itachi
2)Characters with traditional Japanese clothing (eg, samurai, ninja and characters with kimonoes to name a few)
3)Male characters
4)Characters that are elves or wield swords
5)Drawings that require me to get creative
6)Drawings with angels and/or demons (preferably both)
7)Your own original characters that have never been drawn by anyone else
8)Realism
9)Drawings that contain contrast or juxtaposition
Requests that I will not do (don't even bother requesting for these):
1)Artwork that includes any of the following characters (in no particular order): Tifa, Orihime, Rangiku Matsumoto, Tsunade, Rinoa, Irvine, Quistis, Selphie, Quina, FFX-2 versions of characters, Gundam models, Kabuto
2)Fan characters portrayed in a manner that is considered out of character
3)Characters with abnormally large breasts
4)Characters with large or chibi styled eyes
5)Particular styles of anime (eg, Saint Seiya)
6)Scenery or background images with no characters in them
7)Any drawing which requires excessive violence or porn. Generally, it must be work safe, or I won't draw it. However, I don't mind nudes, but your request must be non sexual.
8)Collabs with artists that don't draw well (eg, if you can't draw much more than a stick figure, don't bother asking).
9)Drawings that require lots of machines/mecha themes
